I love this place, a very warm welcome from the restaurant today. I like to eat early so we ordered wine by the glass and the courses were nicely spaced in between. A good amount of english spoken by staff which was a relief. Delighted with the crab starter, pork and fries for main they were so delicious the chef was great. I certainly will return next week.

Fantastic experience. Popped in at midday with no booking and was fortunate to get a table for 2. Great menu, very helpful and friendly service, considering our French language isn't good. Food (menu of the day) was exceptionally good. Good value. Will certainly go back when we return to France next year. Thank you so much to all at La Petite Auberge .

We were passing the area for a overnight stay, what a great find! We both had the raclette burger and chips - the chef really did care about his food. These are the best burgers we had ever. We plan to come and have it again next time we drive past the village. We loved the kind waiting lady who was smiling even from behind her face mask - she spoke very good English which helped us tremendously with the order and menu. Ambience was superb too. Highly recommend this place.Visited in January 2023

Our family of four experienced a wonderful meal tonight. The food was particularly delicious, and the service was excellent from the waitress. The children’s meal, as well as those for the adults, was well presented and generous in portion, with a good selection of regional choices. The restaurant was full on a Wednesday evening, and the atmosphere was warm and inviting.

Traduction
I don't usually post Google reviews but I'm going to make an exception. The inn is located in the heart of the friendly village of Pouligny Saint Pierre. A car park allows you to park peacefully at the rear. It is possible to have lunch outside, in a pleasant, well-sheltered space located between the inn and the wall of a small store which sells traditional pyramid cheeses from Pouligny Saint-Pierre, the delicious peasant nobility of which you will not fail to find in your dishes. We had lunch inside, a simple and pleasant setting. Very friendly welcome from the team. Going to the toilet, excellent hygiene, soap in the dispenser, paper towels (with sheets of paper in them), an army of disinfectant products which provide a reassuring fight against possible bacteria. Aperitif: a refreshing and original spring beer allows us to wait. Not too long because the service is efficient while remaining attentive, friendly and patient. Yes, patient: when 21 people from the same table order 21 different menu compositions and there is always one who doesn't know what they ordered or when the waitress comes back and asks who had the foie gras with tonka beans and of course no one answers and listens... When it comes to the dishes, the chef is undeniably talented and keen to do quality work. There are clearly high standards in the kitchen. Starters, main courses, desserts: it's generous in quantity, authentic, well presented. There are no exceptions. The dishes chosen (and we chose them all) compete with each other. The products are local, well chosen and qualitative. Everyone thought they had chosen the best dish until they tasted what was on their neighbor's plate. Some dishes are served on gallows. The meat or prawns are hung on stainless steel cylinders which, by inertia, keep them warm. These gallows are flambéed in front of you before being served. The flambéing is with pastis for the prawns, with cognac for the mixed grill and with whiskey for the beef. As you see, nothing is left to chance. To ignite the gallows, a young and nevertheless charismatic waitress put on the show with a confident and impressive gesture. His colleague also showed great patience and efficiency in serving our table. As for drinks, the white wine, a reasonably priced mennetou lounge, was easy to drink and fruity (to be consumed in moderation of course). The hardest part about dishes is choosing. For a restaurant for two, here is my advice: a spring beer or a good white wine from the center of the Loire Valley as an aperitif. Still as an aperitif, take a large or medium carp fry for 2 and enjoy them, topping them with the fresh goat cheese served with them. The alliance is perfect. It's not greasy, it doesn't taste like slime, there's no stop... It's addictive. Then order a starter, the breaded Pouligny Saint Pierre salad, for example, is an excellent choice. But you can't go wrong either way. Then delight your eyes and taste buds with a gallows of your choice (the prawns are huge and numerous, the meats delicious, the small chorizos have a good character). The accompaniments? Delicious home fries, or a chorizo risotto to die for. Farandole of sauces in ramekins to accompany this (goat cheese, pepper, wine). An excellent time spent by a group of 21 people last evening at the small inn for a birthday. A young and talented team is at the helm to provide you with a great experience. The cuisine is excellent, generous and the originality does not detract from authenticity. The service is attentive. Good value for money. We will come back.

Parking tranquille !!Traduction
5 stars without hesitation!! The place is beautiful, the welcome is perfect, the staff is very kind and above all very professional!! Couscous last night with a friend, the meats were simply delicious, the vegetables were perfectly cooked. I'll skip the Colonel dessert which perfectly rounded off this delicious meal. I'll come back in the summer to enjoy the terrace and especially the meat stand which promises to be amazing!! Simply a must in the region :) with a happy medium price. Quiet parking!!

Discovering this little inn. A very friendly and smiling welcome from this young couple. The food is excellent and homemade, no fuss, but the quality and down-to-earth attitude delighted us. On Wednesday, the mussels arrived; I absolutely fell for the mussels in Pouligny sauce, to die for, and the French toast-style brioche with yogurt ice cream and homemade whipped cream, a delight. Oh yes, and discovering the carp fries 😉😉 I say bravo and keep delighting us with both our stomachs and your smiles. I'll definitely be back...
